From the Cape Province in South Africa.
These cushion covers are all hand made by Jean Ziervogel and her son, Toyer, helps with the painting thereof.
They must be seen to be appreciated - no photo can do justice to the absolute beauty and detail. The headgear is a separate colorful piece of cloth, sewn onto the cover. The bead necklace is real and attached to the cover. So is the earring. The lips are embroidered with red yarn.
These covers are fully washable and can be ironed and are very professionally finished.
