Wildlife paintings by Nick van Rensburg

This is to introduce you to the work of an artist who specializes in wildlife - not only paintings, but also sculptures and murals. He has a God given talent to let the calls of the wild echo in his art.

He paints Africa's Big Five (Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino) on leather, in oils as well as acrylics and frame these magnificent composures in sleeper wood (normally Rhodesian teak, used as railway sleepers). These composures are a must for everyone who has a passion for wildlife.

His Lions and Leopards, as paintings on their own, are so realistic, that one actually gets that uneasy feeling, being so close to these cats.

He also paints African bushveld scenery on canvas. He spends a lot of time in the world renowned Kruger National Park, where he collects most of his reference material.

There is a huge demand for his work locally in South Africa, and only 5 of his paintings found their way into the USA, which Nick took along when visiting there recently.

Just remember that these paintings are done on hide and cannot be copied or re-printed. Anyone who owns one of his paintings, will be one in several million people owning one, which will make it an excellent investment.
